Beauty Formulas Apricot Deep Cleansing Self-Heating Mask opens your pores to cleanse deep down, for a smoother healthier complexion, and will leave your skin feeling calm and invigorated. I purchased one of these 15ml sachets from a Postie Store when I was last at one, and I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful peachy-orange colour of the mask and the wonderful apricot scent.
I cleansed and dried my face before decanting the contents of the sachet into a small screw top pot before applying the mask thinly with a flat foundation brush that I use for mask application. By doing this, I got four face masks out of this one small sachet, which works out to be great value for money!
Once the mask was applied it started to self-heat, which felt a little weird in the beginning, but in a nice, warm, and quite relaxing sort of way. It said to leave the mask on for 10 – 15 minutes, but I got sucked into the book I was reading and ended up leaving it on for almost 30 minutes. The formula of this mask does not dry and crack like a clay mask would, but rather remains soft and sticky to the touch, and it rinses off easily with warm water.
The results were quite astonishing. I really didn’t expect too much from such a cheap bargain buy, but the blackheads on my nose had been cleared out and my skin felt really soft and smooth, and thanks to the warmth of the self-heating ingredients in the mask, I even felt relaxed and pampered.
I’d definitely purchase another sachet of Beauty Formulas Apricot Deep Cleansing Self-Heating Face Mask. It’s good value for money, it smells wonderful, and it feels nice and relaxing, like a good face mask should.
