The Day 18 gift in the 2017 Beautiful Christmas Advent Calendar was a 50g tube of Biohoney Natural Vitamin E Cream.
Biohoney Natural Vitamin E Cream can be used as a day cream or night cream, and is suitable to use under make-up as it has a non-greasy with an almost matte finish. The cream is packaged in a soft plastic squeeze tube with a screw top lid, and the cream itself has quite a thick consistency, but you only need a little bit as it spreads really easily and moisturizes well.
The product description on Biohoney’s website reads as follows: “Rich in Vitamin E and Collagen, Biohoney’s Natural Vitamin E Cream glides onto skin, restores moisture balance and deeply nourishes. High strength Manuka honey MG 300+, with an abundance of skin-loving nutrients including Avocado oil, Apricot kernel oil and Evening Primrose oil, helps to reveal healthier more youthful looking skin.” This product contains no artificial colours, fragrances, mineral oil, or parabens, although it is recommended that you patch test this product before using and discontinue use if irritation occurs, especially if you have very sensitive skin.
Biohoney Natural Vitamin E Cream has a sweet smelling floral fragrance that is really quite pleasant and is definitely not overpowering. The cream is quickly absorbed into my skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky to the touch, while being nourished, hydrated and moisturized at the same time.
As far as moisturizers go, this one ticks nearly all the boxes for me. It’s paraben free, is non-greasy, is affordable, smells wonderful, and does not make make-up slip. Although I do prefer my moisturizers to contain an SPF, this moisturiser has so many other beneficial ingredients and it works so well that I’d be willing to purchase it again and apply a separate facial sunscreen (like Cherry Black).
