In the past, I’ve found liquid eyeliner to be quite tricky as my hands shake quite a bit, but the pen-like design of this liquid liner makes application really easy and I have much more control over my lines. The jet-black liner has a precision felt-tip that allows the liquid to glide on smoothly, creating anything from thin, sharp lines (if applied with a light hand) to more solid lines with a little more pressure. For really bold lines, just add a few more strokes of the pen. It couldn’t be easier! Once you’re done, the cap clicks on firmly to prevent the tip from drying out or the lid from falling off in your bag.
The formula of the liquid dried almost instantly and didn’t imprint my eyelids and it definitely stays on all day or night. I found that if I missed a spot and needed to go back over it, there was no problem and the product just went on smoothly to cover the gap without flaking or crumbling the existing product on my lid (unlike Benefit’s Push-up Liner).
Eye of Horus Liquid Define Eyeliner is easily removed with eye make-up remover and there was absolutely no irritation to my eyes. I find when I wear Bobbi Brown Long-wear gel eyeliner, my eyes start to feel itchy after a few hours and are really red and irritated once the product has been removed with eye make-up remover.
This is definitely one of the best liquid eyeliners I’ve ever tried and it’s paraben free. So, if you’re still looking for a really black liquid eyeliner that doesn’t flake or transfer, or you’ve been battling to perfect winged eyeliner, give this one a try. It makes winged eyeliner so much easier!
Eye of Horus Liquid Define Eyeliner comes in two colours: Black and Babylon Brown and is available from selected salons and online.
