I bought a tube of Skinfood’s Nourishing Hand Cream from Countdown, while doing my last grocery shop as I had run out of hand cream, and this was so convenient to just pop into my trolley with the rest of my groceries.
The cream is packaged in a 100ml soft plastic squeeze tube with a flip top lid, and I wouldn’t really describe it as a cream, as it is quite thin and fairly runny; it’s definitely more of a hand lotion than a cream. Just be careful not to squeeze the tube too hard, as the lotion is quite fluid, but don’t be put off by this though, the consistency makes this lotion easily absorbed with absolutely no greasy residue. It’s also really hydrating, moisturizing, and the delicate scent is just delicious!
Made with Manuka honey, aloe vera, avocado oil and sweet almond oil, it not only smells delicious, but it does live up to its promise of leaving hands feeling soft, smooth and nourished.
I’ll definitely be purchasing more of this hand cream, and would recommend it, as it’s affordable, it does work, and it’s easy to buy from a supermarket when getting groceries. It also works really well as a foot lotion, too, as it softened and soothed any dry, cracked skin on my heels and soles of my feet.
Skinfood products are available online or from New World and Countdown supermarkets.
