Freeman Beauty Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask is nutrient rich and claims to help replenish and balance the skin with Dead Sea minerals and Sea Salts while helping to unclog blocked pores. The relaxing scents of Lavender and Bergamot help make this a truly blissful face mask.
I like to decant the 15ml sachet into a small pot with a screw top lid, before using it for the first time and I apply my clay masks with a flat foundation brush, as I find it allows me to get a thin, even layer that dries in 10 to 15 minutes. The tub means that I can simply dip my brush in and save the rest for next time. I got three full face masks out of this 15ml sachet.
The Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress mask smells absolutely wonderful and the clay is a bright, funky turquoise blue colour. I applied the mask to my face after cleansing, avoiding the skin around my eyes and mouth and the instant that blue clay hit my skin, my brain went into overdrive with Eiffel 65’s song, “Blue”. I had “I’m blue, da-ba-dee da-ba-die, da-ba-dee da-ba-die” going around and around in my head, the whole time that I had the mask on my face. It was quite amusing, walking around the house, looking like a Smurf!
I got side-tracked with an email and accidentally left the mask on for a little too long before rinsing it off and my skin started to feel really tight and began itching underneath the mask. It also started to feel like the mask was sucking all the moisture out of my skin, so definitely wash it off as soon as the clay has dried, it only takes a few minutes to rinse it away with warm water.
I would definitely recommend it and will be using it again, especially on a night when I need a pick-me-up, it’s hard to feel down when you look like a Smurf!
