On the box it states that it hydrates for 24 hours (even though I have a naturally oily skin, it is still a little dehydrated, so this was a plus), it evens tone, corrects blemishes, boosts healthy glow and has a UV protection SPF 15.
I wasn’t expecting much, as being an all-in-one I knew it would give a very light coverage, but I was happy with the end result. Not only did the BB Cream even out my skin tone and disguise the pigmentation marks (it did not hide them completely like foundation would, but it did even them out enough for me not to worry about looking “patchy”), it also covered the odd blemish too, leaving me with a much more radiant looking complexion and a barely there, “not wearing make-up” look, which is great for those days when you don’t really want to be wearing full-on make-up (like going to the beach, etc.), but still want to feel confident and comfortable in your own skin.
This product would also be great for ladies who don’t like wearing foundation at all or who ‘don’t have the time’ to apply foundation, as this all-in-one would replace your moisturiser in the morning. You’ll need to experiment a little to find the correct amount to use for your skin type, as I found the excess product made my skin look rather shiny (a light dusting of powder does fix this), but after a few days of trial and error, I found that a pea-sized amount was ample for my skin.
One thing that I don’t like about this product is the scented smell and the oily texture. I find that once I’ve applied this to my face, my skin looks and feels quite greasy and I have to apply powder to matte it out and prevent it from slipping and smearing.
Overall, it’s not a bad sheer or light coverage BB Cream but it’s just not right for my oily skin. Unfortunately, I won’t be repurchasing this one and I’ll be going back to using Oasis Beauty’s BB Cream.
