A sample tub of Butterfly Party’s “Mrs Claus’ Cookies” Body Butter was included in the Beautiful Christmas 2017 Advent Calendar, as the Day 11 gift.
This body butter has a lovely sweet sugar cookie scent, and a nice thick consistency that is easily absorbed into the skin. I found this body butter to be very moisturising, even though it does leave a bit of a greasy residue on the skin after application, it’s not so greasy that it’s uncomfortable or too noticeable, and it does seem to disappear quite quickly, unless you rub any excess product onto your hands as a hand cream after applying it to your body. A simple, quick wipe of the palms of the hands sorts that out, and the rest of your hands remain moisturized.
I’m not sure what ingredients this product contains, as there was no ingredients list on the tub, and it’s possible that “Mrs Claus’ Cookies” may have been a limited edition product, as I couldn’t find any information about it online. I do know that sometimes companies make or manufacture special limited edition items especially for Beautiful Christmas’ Advent Calendar.
In conclusion, I really enjoyed using this body butter. The scent was really pleasant without being overpowering, and the texture and consistency of the cream was absolutely wonderful. I’d definitely consider purchasing more of this in the future, if it becomes available as a product in Butterfly Party’s online shop.
