I first tried Oasis Beauty Rhino Repair when I received a little sample pottle in the Oasis Beauty Goodie Bag that I’d ordered. Little did I know, this miracle cream would become a staple go-to item in our house!
After realising what a gem this product is, I immediately ordered a full sized tube and it has been used on everything from cuts and grazes, to painfully cracked hands, rough heels and chapped lips, on sebaceous dermatitis, contact dermatitis and even on my poor kitty’s nose when he had Cat Flu and his little nose was so dry and chapped that it looked really painful.
The large family-size 150ml squeeze tube has funky ombre burgundy stripes and the cream inside is an off-white colour with a consistency that is neither thick or runny but somewhere in between. Rhino Repair is easy to spread (even through hair onto a dry scalp) and it is absorbed quickly without leaving a greasy residue. The only time there has ever been any kind of residue is when I’ve accidentally applied too much to one particular area.
The smell of the cream is very hard to describe and is probably the combination of Aloe and Chamomile. I don’t find the smell to be unpleasant, it’s not overpowering and isn’t strong, it’s just herbal and very difficult to describe.
Rhino Repair definitely lives up to its promises and does help soothe and relieve very dry skin. If you do have problem areas like cracked, chapped hands (or lips), apply a small amount frequently throughout the day. This will help keep the area hydrated and supple while the painfully sore skin attempts to heal.
I would definitely recommend this product and will be purchasing more when I run out. I really do like that it is a topical lotion that can be used on the entire family (FurKids included) and feel that it should be an essential item in any home or First Aid Kit.
